SUMIKAEXCEL 5200P

Grade Information

SUMIKAEXCEL 5200P is a powder grade of polyethersulfone (PESU) designed to dissolve or disperse in solution. The grade names are related to the molecular weight, with 5200P having an intermediate molecular weight. There is a correlation between molecular weight and solution viscosity.

SUMIKAEXCEL PES has excellent toughness, high heat resistance, high dimensional stability, hydrolysis resistance, and chemical resistance. It is also transparent, has long-term heat stability, excellent metal adhesion, moldability, and inherent flame retardancy.
